Real Estate and Relocations
Even as a kid I was always fascinated by real estate and houses.
Growing up I remember studying home plans published in the pages of my mom’s magazines or scooping up the free real estate and home plan rags filling the racks at the entrance of our local grocery stores. I’d sit for hours pouring over floor plans deciding which was my favorite or the changes needed to perfect them. We moved frequently for my dad’s Air Force career, so daydreaming about the perfect home and finding a sense of place was a fun preoccupation – one that has lasted into adulthood. After a 20 year career in sales and creative project management in the entertainment industry, I’ve spent the last 8 years marrying my real estate obsession with the marketing and entrepreneurial skills I developed in Hollywood.
My professional real estate journey began in earnest in San Francisco where I was mentored by 2 of the area’s most successful Realtors. That hands-on practical experience set me up for great success as one of the highest producing agents in Detroit for more than 5 years. Helping my clients navigate Detroit’s market of gorgeous historic properties and the more recent explosion of modern new construction not only gave me a broad base of property knowledge, but a genuine appreciation for the beauty and synergies possible when an older city is determined to thrive and expand homeownership opportunities for all of its residents.
It’s one of the many reasons my husband and I were drawn to Seattle, a proud historic city experiencing explosive recent growth. Another is that we are west coasters at heart, and I am so excited to bring my residential expertise to Seattle at Windermere Real Estate Mount Baker, an office with deep neighborhood and metro area knowledge, and a reputation for combining exceptional industry know-how with compassionate community involvement.
We’re having a blast meeting new friends, feathering our new nest, and exploring the incredible restaurants, coffee shops, and outdoor activities (along with our 2 rescue pups) the region has to offer.
If you’re on the hunt for home as either a buyer or seller, I’d love to connect! We can swap our relocation stories, and then I’ll get to work helping you with what’s next in your home journey.
